    Syncros angle/slanted stem cap alternative

I would say so - the latter Syncros caps were plastic so it should work... also blue ano syncros stem...? It would be interesting to see how long it took/how much material to be able to gauge a cost for production and P+P. D p.s. interesting find!

ARGHHH, just seen this - I really need a rear if you have one left??? Edit. I'm actually looking for rear hub spares - drive side bearings and race... but will take a rear hub if you have one...

Hope hub wheels mismatch, fat front, Screw rear

Hey y'all, Some wheels for sale. I've had a bit of a howler re wheel purchases on here so I'm all for information up front: ➡️ Front Hope fatso Ti on Mavic 117 SUP CD in dark grey. Wheel reasonably true, brake surface good - couldn't see any thinning of the rim walls. Some additional...

    DAN/ED

There was an MBR thread with a guy who had one of these bikes but it never got around to talking about how it rode other than the drivetrain worked pretty well... I'd love it if someone on RB owned one and could chip in/provide more pics... Unfortunately the links to pictures of the 2 bikes...

Saw these goofy cranks online and wondered what they were all about... after a few seconds googlin' I found a whole bike - a belt drive from 1995. Not much more information outside of the mbr forum thread I read but super intrigued as to the fairly modern look of this mid 90's machine...

So true - but if money was no object, some of his parts I've never seen anywhere else before which leads me to the logical conclusion that he must own a time machine and I guess plutonium is not cheap...

    Cook Bros MTB hubs..?

Re: Re: Yeah, that fork is so cool - I love how it matches up with the rear stays on the frame. Always wondered about the 'cooky' looking dogbone stem but on this bike it totally makes sense. Mid 80's was too early for me - I started around early 90's so missed all of this vintage...

    Cook Bros MTB hubs..?

Re: Re: This is nice - they have the aluminium (sic) spool on them - I wonder if there was ever a production graphite. I have seen a front QR hub but never the rear. For the time, screw-on makes sense and I wouldn't imagine a freehub body model was ever conceived of.

    Cook Bros MTB hubs..?

Anyone know more about these? 1985 but guessing they didn't see production... Love Cook Bros stuff but never seen these hubs anywhere else before. They seem like aluminium flanges with graphite spools... There was a 1989 Cook Bros DH Bonzo Fury bike of Bob Allen's which may have had them on it...

I don't know them but they do have a ton of super rare parts, 20" Amp forks, Clark Kent NOS pineapple hubs, Joes rear mech etc - very expensive but I remember going through his haul a while back... stunning
