A Surly 1x1 fork would have the right height but i hear it´s jackhammer stiff. There are carbon/ aluminum forks being sold on the bay w/ 425mm a-c.

A level w/ saddle bar, 135mm 10 degree stem and a marz bomber z2 w/ 70mm of travel will get you comfortable. Maybe a 120mm stem if you are not above 5 10 height.

This frame has a 71.5 degr. head angle when built w/ a 425mm a-c susp. fork. Don´t build it w/ a shorter fork or the riding quality will be thrown off. That´s a hardtail frame, Judy era. If you want a rigid Ibis go w/ the SS, Avion, custom etc... That´s a very precise frame on singletrack...

Raise the stem w/ spacers. Level saddle and hbar. Go w/a 22.5in bars. Susp should be 2.5in of travel. Like a Judy or Marz. height. Ibis mojos are the coolest steel hardtails ever made.

This is the best MOjo vintage: Prestige tubing. I would go w/ a long stem and flat bar, not the riser but fit is highly personal.

Paint is fine. It´s well worn. And black is beautifull.

The right thing to do is to send it back. We shouldn´t even be talking about it. Is it a good situation? No but that´s the price of admission to custom jobs. Brodie is a well respected name. Sending it back is keeping the name intact.

That´s a supreme gravel bike.

A handlebar can dissipate some of the vibration but most of all, the less weight you place on the bars the less beaten will be your hands and joints. Even a dirt drop set up can be an excellent way to protect your hands and joints. Stems, short stems won´t do much good.

I would ship him the stem back. If it´s not crooked and you are hallucinating, the loss is on you. If it´s the builder fault, he delivers it back to you, cap installed, bolt in place. PS: stems are not comfortable. Position on the bike should be and stems get you there.

Btw.. the fluorescent orange is one iconic color of the late 80s. I have a wicked and ride it all the time. And a 54cm Pinarello Vuelta which is the same generation of your Radius. What a coincidence. Back to the Wicked, it´s a great bike at technical singletrack. It has a high bottom...
