    Eroica Britannia or L'Ancienne 2018?

We (a group of 10-15 Norwegian) was thinking about doing another ride/festival next year as the cycling seems to become less important at the Eroica over the years, we are doing this as a "man event" no wives allowed. Anyhow when the date was released last Friday we decided quickly to go to...

    Who made this frame?

Re: Thanks for the reply. I am not convinced about the Japan lead, because all Japanese frames I have seen from this period seems to have distinct serial number using a system of letters and numbers under the bottom bracket. By the way around the late seventies the French manufacturer moved...

    Who made this frame?

Thanks for the reply, after carefully inspecting the bike and comparing to other bikes, I am concluding, the bike is repainted and rebranded. The headstock label is from late eighties, the two other labels are from around 76-77. I have so far no clue of the frame origin, but it's most unlikely...

Where can you get cleats for toe clips?

Re: No the slot goes behind the bolts, have a look some posts higher to see similar cleats installed. One small note, this type of cleats are quite wide and for some narrow pedals it's not possible to use them, for instance I can not use them on the BSA pedals on my 1960 BSA Golden Fifty.

    Show us your Eroica Ride!

Re: It seems like the UK Eroica team has simplified the original rules used by the Italian and the other l'Eroica events, I don't think their intention is to rule out non indexed bar end shifters, rod operated shifters or other strange ways of shifting gears. According to the rule as its stand...

    Show us your Eroica Ride!

Re: I think you are wrong with your assumption that bar end shifter is not accepted, they are clearly accepted in the Italian event, but I shall check rules of Eroica Britannia as well.
