The next piece of the puzzle solved! I got the Blackspire chainring, 36T, on ebay from an australian mystery man... He sent it promptly though so no worries there :lol: This is what it looks like on the crank. Have a nice weekend /J

OK, so I´ve fixed it up with the Chris King 18T cog instead. I´ve had a problem with a stuck post that I´m now trying to solve. Within the next couple of weeks i´ll hopefully get that fixed. Here´s a pic for now. I hope this bike will be really cool when it´s done :D /J

Yes, it´s a frosted surface. It´s a really cool paintjob. I looks really nice still 8) It´s finished now. Everything is kosher, except the saddle. It´s because my brother-in-law can start using the bike without too much ass-pain :lol: Take care /J

Hi folks, Here at last I´m building up my first mtb again, a Trek 930. In all honesty I´m setting it up for my brother-in-law. So I´ll use mostly the original components, with some nice stuff that I have lying around. I´ll set-up a list in time, but for now I´ll just put up some pics. And...

Yeah, the headtube is really steep! I´ve lined it up just shy of that angle and it seems to work fine :) I adjusted the seat for my kid and it went really well. Thanks for all help B :D J Edit: Maybe I should get myself a Bonty cruiser like that 24".. This seems like fun :twisted...

I got the seat forward a couple of cm´s. I pitched the bars forward a similar amount and it made a big difference. I tried it out and it was a lot better riding it. We´ll try it out tomorrow. Thanks for helping out man :D J

Thanks Cat! But the bars have to be where they are, he can´t reach the brake otherwise. We will get there in time :twisted: J

Now my kid is getting big enuff to use the Heavy Tools I bought him last year. Even though it´s a flatland I put tires with some knobs on them :) I also fixed the brake so it´s usable, and it works real well now! Here we are at a dirt track, having a great time :D We´re not at...

OK, still too cold for taking out the Alfa, so I´ve decided that I´ll start fixing the bike instead ;) It´s still real cold here but at least the sun is shining and mostly the snow and ice has gone bye bye. Here´s the rear wheel with the DMR SS kit. /J
