12mm is plenty for a bottle cage, maybe if you cages have a thick mounting flange you would go to 15mm. I think the use posts are M5 by 45mm or maybe 50mm - mine are off the bike at the moment so I can check easily - give us a prod if I forget ... :lol: WD :D

Kool stop salmons on my ceramics are doing quite well and wouldn't harm the ally. I get salmon brake dust after a +40mph decent so they are wearing, but there not expensive either ... Great braking in the dry, a bit compromised in the wet (first application / sweep) but still OK - bear in mind...
