Anything will do, fixing up a cheap beater bike, so no intention to spend a lot 🤦‍♂️

Thanks again @Theeastisred but I managed to solve it locally in a DIY bicycle workshop run by volunteers. They hoard all sorts of old and odd parts, just perfect for me today. I found the right bottom bracket, installed it myself, donated some money to them and am now preparing to pack up some parts that I have no use for, and bring it to them next week.
To you I can offer a pint at The Bikewrenchers Inn or IRL if you ever get around to visit my part of the world.
