NIB Campag filth

A provincial auction house may have no real idea what many items are worth, especially if they're a bit obscure, like these are. They may copy what's on the box, let people come and find it.
I find Saleroom useful to locate stuff, but can then see if the auction room takes bids in-house as it were thus avoiding the usual 3% Saleroom fees.
Some auction houses only operate through Saleroom though. So yes, you have to keep your eye on the price as it can soon leap up...!

A pair of Delta calipers in very good condition generally goes for about £400 on eBay, so God knows what two complete NOS boxed brakesets with levers will go for. Even with the market as flat as it is, I think these are exactly the sorts of NOS components that will buck the overall trend and go for big money.

I don’t want or need any of it but that’s a really nice lot. The stuff you dream of finding on a shelf in the back of an old shop!

Never underestimate an auctioneer's capability to milk every last penny from interested punters.
