Retro Newbie
Another bike that came into our community cycle workshop. Had been kept indoor for years so was in generally good condition. Completely stripped, cleaned, regreased and a few components (like grips and tyres) replaced.
this is an excellent example of how good! the 86 mk2 Raleigh was, look at it there, just standing on her own, doesn`t even need a rider or kick stand, rumour has it, at night you can here them changing gears on there own, the squeal of rock hard rubber on polished chrome rims and unmistakable sound, of the rear axle breaking (again) as you point it, at a curb!Another bike that came into our community cycle workshop. she got some bubbling on the head tubes and fork, had the fork resprayed about 7 years ago, was a ford colour, can`t remember what it was, but, when I get some spare, I'll have it done again, put put some extra gloss laquer over the top next time.Caliper brakes! Old school.
Great condition and nice to see it being saved.
