Minor update. I swapped the tires from the Schwalbe Kojaks to a set of Vee Crown Gem 2.25" and plenty of clearance. Those were designed by Scot Nicol, Ibis. I think he did all of the REI frame designs for a bit.

Here is a different Breezer, American Breezer that is. I foolishly sold it about 2 years ago after hoarding it for about 15 years. Completely original less the tires which were NOS Ground Controls. The frame and stem are anodized, not polished aluminum.

I see the post is deleted, did you snap it up? I would have jumped on it as I have a P21 not fillet brazed but to each their own. Damn good price for a bike built by the Man.

The bike is all done now, although tiny. I kept with the flow of the lower end Shimano group and some cheapie Amazon tires.

Not 100% sure, but I think this is the one I used after finding out my GT Hadley was cracked. Be sure to check the bore diameter of the one you are replacing to ensure the right size for axle...

Some Ross bikes in mid 80's have a similar stem as a Cooks but not quite as nice and a bit on the heavy side. Might be an option until the right stem comes along and will be a ton cheaper I would expect.
