Bump.

It’s 61cm to the very top of the seat tube, which sticks out a fair bit so it would be comparable to a 59cm regular steel frame, in my estimation - and the length of the head tube pretty much confirms that.

1996 ish, 61cm to top, 57cm TT. in near ‘out-of-the-box’ condition. £350 RSX triple groupset 2 owners, the first clearly didn’t like it as there is no wear on the rims whatsoever. Every component suggests this bike has lain idle its entire life. The only distraction is a bit of rust pushing...

I have a choice of frames to build up: 1. Joe Waugh 531c race 2. Rourke 531c audax 3. Rourke 653 race 4. Longstaff 531DS audax 5. Ellis Briggs 531c audax It’s prob going to be the Longstaff first followed by the Rourke 653 cos I’ve never owned a 653 frame before.

His association with Brian Rourke by that time meant I always wanted a BR frame and I’m happy to say that has just recently happened for me so now I can at least look down at the name...

How about an early George Longstaff frame for less than 100 notes. I think it’s a TT frame so I plan to deck it out in early 80’s Campag Record; single 54t ring, GP4’s and half taped bars.

7800 for me. I managed to bags a few groupsets when they could be bought for decent money. Now people are asking 50% more for them. 6600 comes a close second, especially the blue-grey SL version which looks gorgeous. 4600 Tiagra is good too. I prefer the shift on these over Dura-Ace as they are...
