To be honest there isn’t much handling wise between the pair. Yes, the frame was refinished to match the fork - originally it was black like yours. Love the idea of a Pinion conversion 😎 How far off are you from starting that?

Soooooo nearly 3 years on from my last post ( ☺️ ) and I finally have a complete box of bits I think I’m happy with … I’m not sure I’m going to use it but this arrived this week - made by WI IIRC - really nice piece of kit. Roll on longer, lighter, warmer evenings and a spare few minutes 😎
