you're the man! 👍 I've never managed to ride nowhere near 100km in one sole day. the most was around 70km on mixed on/off-road rides for me, which happened multiple times, but above 100km for "just a ride on a random day" seems like seeing an UFO for me.

yep, great advice, but I do not ride with luggage, so this gearing (39*11-36) is sufficient most of the time.

both Friday and yesterday went throuh the window with all the sunshine and blue skies. :( but today! only a short ride, but a short ride is longer than no ride. GM cablecord, anyone? :D

does this qualify as an adventure bike? it is an Author Ronin (MY 2017). TBH the most relevant adventure was to build it from bore-stock to this stage, nothing really exciting ride on it, a few family excursions and a few other outings. I have had it for a few years now, but I am still not sure...

it's a geodetic survey tower, but nowadays used as a radio transmission repeater. afaik. :)
