Strange fact - 1st gen Mavic Crossmax were radially spoked on the rear left side, but on later versions it switched to the drive side. Seems a very odd design decision, but they’re solid wheels. Go figure!

Also you seldomly get tapered diameter stays on Ti frames. A bit of bending and ovalising maybe but they’re generally always built from straight tubes, except on a couple of top end frames.

Yes they’re good. The pivot’s slightly wobbly on the 3 position version maybe, but they’re very nice and comfortable.

Excellent wheels these, great on hillclimbs, accelerate well and seem to hold speed too. They’re proving to be pretty durable also. I’m a big fan.
