Always 26.8, or sometimes 26.6?

I should add of the many, I started out with an rts-2 in 1992 (must have been as I was still in 6th form) which was 26.8. I then had, and still have an RTS team which I bought nos as frame only and imported from the USA and that's wearing a 26.8 controltech.
I've had many others, nearly all us built versions, all took 26.8. I have another us version awaiting building and that's also a 26.8 and has a Thompson or race face xy waiting in the wings.
I have heard that some take a 27.0 now I think about it, maybe the later ones that crossed over with the LTS that were simply badged RTS (but not the same as the early/original as were made in Taiwan with curved end cap on top tube). Maybe the rts-3, I've never had one of those.
