1990 Pinarello Rombo build thread

I really like some of the unique and obscure MTBs built by the traditionally road bike companies of this era. I've always admired the long standing Italian bike manufacturers like Pinarello so when I saw the Rombo frame come up on eBay, I jumped on it. This seller also was selling an nos set of the Gipiemme Tecno 416 wheels. I'd never seen then before and based on some of the crazy $ being spent on nos vintage wheels, I thought they would be a good investment. I've been working on the build over the winter months and wanted to share some of the pics. Hope to get it on the trail soon.

First ride today. I like it. Light, nimble and very Euro nineties. Going to add it to BOTM for April.

Tonight I brought home a Pinarello Rombo like yours! 🔝 🔝
It is in good condition. Cantilever, brake levers, front derailleur and hubs are marked Campagnolo. Other components are cheap components. This makes me think that the bike was originally assembled entirely with Campagnolo components. I searched online for information on the Pinarello Rombo, but I found almost nothing. I kindly ask if you have any more information, perhaps a 1992 or 1993 Pinarello catalog where the Rombo is seen.
Thanks in advance
