Are these TI?

and if so any ideas on sale value? I apprciate they came on a Raleigh so arent going to be setting the world alight ;)

Possibly.
How much do they flex?
Use a multimeter to see if they conduct electricicy. Don't use the pointed ends of the probes but rather the sides of the probes on the bars. If they are anodised aluminium it won't conduct. Do it on a good undamaged section of the bars.

Cheers chris. if they are ti any ideas on rough value. I was going to stick them on at £10 but as I lost out on the frameset (was cheap but a non starter). It might hold out a little more to recoup costs.

If you want £10 then give me your paypal address!
If Ti they are quite unusual, could be worth a fair bit? Only putting them on ebay would determine their value.
There is a person on here who has a room full of Ti parts, probably worth asking him if he's seen them before as he pretty much has one of everything! No idea of his name though!

Let me know the result of any testing please.

Just remembered faded aluminium anodising is sometimes that colour.
Pull back the grips and see if it's different underneath.

Will do

£10 was when I thought they where same as somthing found on an activator. Was trying to google the frame when I found some results suggesting ti bullhorns came on some duotech bikes. As the magnet test wont tell the difference between alu and ti. dont have a multi meter to hand so might just wire them up to a light bulb in series and plug them in ;)

Use only low voltage. By low voltage I mean a battery <12v! As mains is classed as low voltage.

We posted at the same time, did you see the post about checking under the grips?

lol... dont worry Chris.. I'm really not that "shocklingly" stupid ;) Yes will check under the grips too.

Colour appears to be uniform however its hard to tell due to the lacquer still being present under the grips.
